LTCCP Software Stratagy.

The Software/IT content of the site is intended to fill an information vacumn. The technology required to support the information needs of the ltccp is generally not well known. The need for specific software and other tools to cope with the huge informational and organisational demands of the ltccp will require excellent managment and a good knowledge of the products that are available. Software content of the site is intended to assist in filling the information void.

The matter of identifying suitable software tools to enable Councils to properly manage the ltccp process and its multi-dimensional data is a major issue. Very significant efforts will be needed if the small to medium-sized Councils are to rise to the challenge. Some may not cope in time, or at all. Both attitudinal and operational organization-wide change processes are involved.
