This web site has been purpose built and designed to meet the needs of New Zealand Local Government, in the development of their Long Term Council Community Plan (LTCCP).

This study, as its title suggests is focused upon the emerging issues surrounding the data that will be required for the ltccp's of New Zealand Councils....

The data that informs, supports and is used to manage the many LTCCP processes is fully supported on this website.

The "Data Resources" are contained in the "NZLG Database" which derives its content from the perspective of five communities of interest or groups of "stakeholders"…

The Software/IT content of the site is intended to fill an information vacumn. The technology required to support the information needs of the ltccp is generally not well known.

The Community Input section of this site is intended to address the issue of managing the information that community groups can contribute to their Council's ltccp process.
